Update:  We did it again! Dealer of the year 2008 For the 2nd year running we've scooped the Commencal Dealer of The year award. 2007 was a record year for Commencal in the UK and a record year for us as we established ourselves as the first port of call for all things Commencal.  We now hold better Commencal stock than any other UK dealer plus almost every small part you might need.  Deal with the best, deal with the 2x dealer of the year! Commencal as a brand was first officially bought into the UK & Irish market in early 2005. Real Cycles owner Steve knew of Max Commencal through the Sunn Bicycles brand that dominated the MTB scene in the early to mid 1990's, Max was a partner and driving force behind Sunn. So when the offer to try out the new Commencal full suspension platform was offered by the new importer, Steve jumped at it. The first ride on a Meta5 was a revelation, it did what all the others claimed to do: It gripped the ground and found traction where normally you'd be spinning put, it climbed liked a mountain goat and the frame was extremely stiff and strong. After a few rides Steve was sold and a deal to be the exclusive N. Irish dealer was done.

Two years later (March 07) the name Real Cycles has become synonymous with Commencal. We setup the first UK DH Commencal race team and we also run Commencals only Adventure Race Team. Since it's launch in the UK we have sold more Commencals than any other dealer and our backup and support for our Commencal riders is second to none. We always carry spare parts, have our own replacement bearing kits for the bikes made up and in some cases have unique one off parts made to help our riders get the most out of their bikes.

When the new UK & Ireland Commencal importer, Madison, took over the distribution of the brand in 2006 it was us they came to for advice!

In late Feb 07 our hardwork and commitment to the brand, and our high level of customer support for the riders was recognized by Max Commencal and Madison when we were awarded Commencal Dealer Of Year 2006. The awards took place in Milton Keynes (salubrious or what?) with Max Commencal and several of the staff from their Andorran HQ attending, along with international DH racer & playboy Cedric Gracia Commencals latest signing, the Athertons also in attendance. It's fair to say the odd drink was drunk!
