PANARACER Rampage SC Sticky Compound

Description: The Rampage has been around a while now and loved by those looking an aggressive tyre that rolls well and is low in weight. Now enter the new SC "super tacky" version.

Using the new ZSG Active soft (50 duro) compound rubber mix the new SC tyre has the same performance as the hard compound version but with better grip on rock and roots, meaning the bike can be pushed harder and faster into corners.

RC have tested this tyre on a Commencal Supreme bike in wet rocky and rooty conditions. Whilst they were not as grippy as a set of full on Super Tacky DH tyres, they got surprisingly close, but are several pounds lights. Rolling resistance was noticeably lower too.

Ideal aggressive all mountain tyre, particulary good on exposed rocks and roots. Ramped center lugs offers good rolling whilst side lugs give good grip in the corners.
